Kursus ini memberi fokus kepada teknik vokal sebutan. Di samping itu juga, pelajar diberikan pendedahan mengenai teknik persembahan dan latihan nyanyian dalam pelbagai rentak. Di sini, pelajar juga dapat mempraktikkan kemahiran dan teknik dalam pelbagai repertoire lagu.

Pengajaran secara individu: Setiap pelajar akan diajar secara individu selama setengah jam dalam satu minggu bagi mempraktikkan kemahiran teknik dan teori dalam bidang yang berkaitan. Di samping itu juga, diadakan persembahan mini (performance lab) sebanyak dua kali dalam satu semester

This course focuses on vocal diction techniques. Students are exposed to performance techniques and singing in various rhythm. Students practise vocal skills and techniques from  different repertoire.

Individual learning: Each student receives 30 minutes individual lesson per week  from the lecturer/tutor to work on technical skills and repertoire assigned. Students are grouped together to perform for a mini performance (performance lab) conducted twice in a semester.

Kursus ini menghuraikan kemahiran mendengar dan bertutur, kemahiran membaca, pendekatan dan kaedah pengajaran bacaan, teknik pengajaran kemahiran membaca, penyediaan rancangan pelajaran kemahiran membaca, penilaian kemahiran membaca, kemahiran menulis, pendekatan pengajaran kemahiran menulis, kemahiran mengarang, prosedur pengajaran dan penyediaan bahan bantu mengajar dan penilaian pengajaran kemahiran menulis.

 

This course elaborates on listening and speaking skills, reading skill, approaches and methods of teaching techniques of reading, teaching reading skills, preparation of teaching plan for reading skills, assessment of reading skills, writing skills, approach to teaching writing skills, teaching procedure and preparation of teaching materials and teaching assessment of writing skills.

This course focuses on the principles of teaching listening and speaking skills, developing listening and speaking, selection and adaptation of materials and activities, assessing listening and speaking skills, planning for teaching listening and speaking, planning remedial and enrichment activities and microteaching.

Muzik Malaysia mengandungi enam bahagian iaitu Muzik Bentuk Seni Lakon, Muzik Bentuk Tarian Utama, Muzik Ensembel Sosial Popular, Muzik Ensembel Lain, Muzik Vokal Koral dan Muzik Instrumental solo. Genre-genre yang dipilih mewakili tradisi muzik klasik, rakyat dan sinkretik daripada pelbagai kaum di Malaysia. Dalam kursus ini, pelajar didedahkan dengan pelbagai genre melalui aktiviti pendengaran, analasis tayangan video ataupun persembahan sebenar, analisis skor, bengkel dan pengalaman praktikal salah satu genre.

Ensembel permainan alat muzik Malaysia mengutamakan penyertaan pelajar dalam ensembel alat tradisional di Malaysia. Dalam ensembel alat tradisional di Malaysia, pelajar boleh memilih dan melibatkan diri dalam mana-mana satu ensembel alat tradisional di Malaysia iaitu daripada Gamelan, Cak Lempong, Ensembel Jatung Utang (Sarawak), Ensembel Kulintangan (Sabah) atau Orkestra Cina “Hua Yueh. Pelajar juga diwajibkan menghadiri dua persembahan muzikal serta mengelola dan menguruskan satu konsert muzikal.

Malaysian Music course contains six components: Music in the form of performing arts, Music in the form of dance, “Popular social” ensemble music, choral vocal music and solo instrumental music. Music genres materials are selected from traditional classic music, folk songs and syncretic music from the Malaysian ethnics. In this course, students are exposed to different music genres through listening activity, video watching or live performances, score analisis, workshops and practical experiences.

Ensemble course involves students’ participation in Malaysian music traditional instruments. Students select and participate in any Malaysian music traditional ensemble ranging from Gamelan, Cak Lempong, Jatung Utang (Sarawak) ensemble, Kulintangan ensemble  (Sabah) and Chinese “Hua Yueh” Orchestra. It is compulsory for students to attend two musical performances, plan and organise musical concerts.

Kursus ini memberi penekanan kepada sesi latihan pengajaran makro. Pelajar akan didedahkan dengan perancangan sesi pengajaran makro, kemahiran-kemahiran dalam pengajaran makro serta langkah-langkah pengajaran makro. Di dalam kursus ini  juga, fokus utama ialah merancang  jenis penilaian dan kriteria penilaian yang diuji dan dinilai berdasarkan aspek kemahiran muzikal yang tertentu. Disamping itu, amalan refleksi didedahkan kepada pelajar untuk mempertingkatkan mutu kerjaya pelajar.

 

This course focuses on macro teaching sessions. Student experiences hands on planning of macro teaching sessions, develop skills in macro teaching and sequential steps undertaken in macro teaching. In this course, focus is also on planning the types of assessment and valuation criteria based on the specified musical aspects. In promoting quality teachers, students are exposed to the practice to reflect and write on the work carried out.

Kursus ini mendedahkan kepada pelajar tentang perniagaan dan keusahawanan iaitu  pemasaran,  kewangan,perniagaan elektronik ( E- dagang ) , undang-undang perniagaan,keusahawanan dan perniagaan kecil serta kemahiran pedagogi.

 This course exposes students to business and entrepreneurship which includes :  marketing,,finance, electronic commerce ( E – commerce ) , business law, ,entrepreneurship and small business as well as pedagogical skills.

This course encompasses sociocultural aspects of various groups in Malaysia; learning styles based on different multicultural aspects; communication skills; multicultural relationship skills and issues.

Kursus ini meliputi pengurusan dan pentadbiran pendidikan jasmani dan sukan; pentadbiran agensi-agensi sukan kebangsaan dan antarabangsa; pengurusan pendidikan jasmani dan sukan; pengurusan permainan tradisional; program pembangunan sukan; undang-undang dan pentadbiran sukan; isu-isu dalam sukan; nilai dan etika dalam sukan.

This course discusses the management and administration of physical education and sport; administration of national and international sport agency; managing physical education and sport; managing tradisional games; sports development programme; laws and administration of sport; issues in sport; values and ethics in sport.
